We are back from a great trip to de Bahamas. Eleuthera is an amazing place and we had a surpisingly good time in Nassau to boot. I'll post some picts and a report as soon as I can collect myself after the harsh reality of returning to -30c temps and no less snow.  Cry

Funny story though we unpacked all our sea shells and a house gecko fell out one of them. Poor little bugger must have had quite the flight! He's alive and well and being fed what few bugs I can find up here in this weather. Not too many moths flyinmg around up here right now.

It was a surprising ending to the trip no doubt about it. I can only imagine what customs would have said to us if they searched our bags!  Shocked

It sounds like you had quite the adventure in the BVI's. A sailing trip just wouldn't be a sailing trip unless the crap hits the fan somewhere along the line to make it even more memorable. Great picts in the gallery and I'll look forward to seeing more old and new.

that's what i was thinking - we got held up at SJU for 2 apples, you might get sent to gitmo for a gecko.

yep, the itinerary went out the window and the adventure began. it is true, tho, that once the FU was in place, we felt good about how we handled the situation.
